A new Woloism - Memphis Blazer - 12-15-2013 10:48 AM

This one isn't a big deal, because I've heard others make similar statements. It just struck me as funny.

In the UALR game, I was listening to part of it, and Tigers foul a UALR player. Wolo said "and he is the wrong person to foul. He never misses. He shoots 80% from the free throw line!"

In Wolo's world 80% IS perfection.

But the question is, does he shoot 80% from the 55-yard line?

And was he shooting the free throw left to right on your radio dial.

As it keeps rimming and rimming.

Could we send Wolo to Lexington to join Calipari?

The other day on the radio Wolo referenced David Bowie at the Alamo.

Or was it "caught and dropped" at the 55 yard line?

RE: A new Woloism - Joe1 - 12-15-2013 01:35 PM

he also called Joe "little Joe" again. even though he is aware that Joe didn't want to be called that. clearly he isn't going to stop. unless, however, Joe himself asked him to not call him that. which isn't going to happen, Joe is too nice, too shy and quiet. Oh Jack Eaton, how I wish you were still the guy.

During his radio show last week, Wolo's David Bowie comment about the Alamo was funny.

He meant Davey Crocket. But used Crocket's first name with Jim Bowie's last name.

If he continues to give a player an unwelcome nickname, then Wolo earns unemployment. It goes beyond his common and annoying but forgivable incompetence.

If we're trying to upgrade our program it should start with our voice.

"He meant Davey Crocket. But used Crocket's first name with Jim Bowie's last name."

I doubt it, I think he probably meant David Bowie now that he is in his golden years.

it doesn't seem like this will ever happen though. either the university officials do not know that many fans do not care for Wolo, or they know and aren't going to do anything about it. I wonder which one it is?
