I couldn't help but post a thread that stated the obvious... those on this board are a pretty representative selection of NIU SUPER fans for sure... I haven't read anyone touting that they just bought their tickets????

Well, I think the team will be going to the game. I just hope this time the defense doesn't miss the plane. Better set the alarm clock now!

I think it's mighty tough to ask fans to shell out $1,500-$2,000 for a glorified exhibition game....

Trying like hell right now to make it work from Baltimore - Mobile would have been a go; just very complicated with it being the day after Xmas. Still not giving up!

San Diego is a great trip. If you have the cash to blow, I would suggest going for sure.

Got lucky with this one. I was headed out to Escondido for the holidays anyway. This news just makes my trip that more enjoyable. Now I have a sports event I can attend while there. Plenty of time to get away from the family if need be!
