As rumored, the Rice OC has taken the same job at KU. He will not remain with Rice through the bowl game. No word on a (n interim) replacement, but there is at least one offensively oriented coach in Houston with Rice connections and some free time suddenly on his hands.

Didn't rice lose an PC to Kansas a few years ago? I don't remember that working out.
