Strong rumors coming through the twitterverse state that the Bearcats will face the North Carolina Tar Heels. This turns the Belk Bowl into an away game.
North Carolina is 6-6. They beat who they were supposed to beat. Lost some games by a lot. Hung with a #10 Miami team, and barely lost to Coastal champion Duke. If the Tar Heels are the opponent the Cats should win.

Had we beaten Louisville and got slotted into this bowl I would have been really mad but I cant complain at this point. You have an okay season you get an okay bowl against an okay opponet so this will be fine. North Carolina doesn't do much for me in terms of appeal but it's whatever. if you want to see the cats play someone else root hard for Duke tomorrow. I heard some talk that if UNC gets selected to this bowl that the game might be moved to noon? I saw this from UNC fans on twitter so it probably is just talk but I don't know. Anyways, win this game and it'll be 10 wins in 6 of 7 seasons and that is something to be proud of. Go Cats!

If they win the bowl game they will be one of four programs to have won 10 games in 6 of the last 7 years. The others being Alabama, Oregon, and maybe Oklahoma (they currently have 9 wins as we'll. considering UC has had three different coaches during that span that's damn impressive.

Very Bush league and unprofessional by the CBS blogger, Tom Fornelli.
He's from Illinios and writes about the Big10 and Big12 so I guess he thought he was putting UC in their place.

They look just as dumb as fans at all 126 FBS schools. Just cause people make cheesy signs and things don't go their way does not make them dumb. Let them be passionate, let them make signs...It is what makes college football great.

Actually I think BGSU get the Godaddy and NIu gets The Idaho Potato Bowl which used to be Humanitarian in Boise. Even worse because it is colder.

Sorry a Mac school asking for Bama is dumb I don't care how passionate their fans are. NIU would get blown off the field by Auburn or Bama.
