I swear, I think all sportscasters do in Chicago is watched Bears and Blackhawks games on loop.

Laurence Holmes always comes off as pretty well educated on NIU football. They've also been having Rozner on to talk about the NIU games too. ESPN1000 basically refuses to discuss college football at all unless NW or Illinois are ranked.

Well, yeah, but that's basically responding to the desires of most of their audience. I got in the car this morning and the two dim bulbs on the Score were still b*tching about Trestman on Sunday. That's what "Meathead from the 708" wants to talk about. Then, they move on to "Is Derrick Rose a p*&&y?", "should the Bears extend Cutler now or later?", and then "Ricketts/Jerry Reinsdorf won't pay for a winner/ Blow it up and play the kids and see what they can do".
Repeat until McNeil gets out of rehab, or the looney bin, or wherever he is this time.
