Future scheduling - SuperFlyBCat - 11-15-2013 09:58 AM Ryan Koslen @Koz_UC 2m RT@WhitBabcock: look for new '14-'15 & '18-'19 FB home/home series' to announce later this mo. #Bearcats ??? RE: Future scheduling - bearcatlawjd - 11-15-2013 10:03 AM This could be the rumored 2015 opening game at the new Nippert. 2014 schedule was full but it looks like they will be moving to six home games next season at PBS instead of 7. Goodbye Stony Brook??? 2018 has to be on the road and 2019 would be a home game. RE: Future scheduling - Crewdogz - 11-15-2013 10:08 AM I know mo. is an abbreviation for month but considering Whit's background wouldn't it be funny if it was Mizzou (MO)..? Goodbye Stony Brook??? I think you are right. RE: Future scheduling - CliftonAve - 11-15-2013 10:24 AM Per Jamel Poteat's tweet a few weeks ago, UC and Stony Brook are off (Poteat is now at Stony Brook). RE: Future scheduling - RealDeal - 11-15-2013 12:00 PM I noticed he said nothing about BCS school so I'm anticipating some MAC powerhouse. RE: Future scheduling - @ES Trader - 11-15-2013 12:02 PM louisville....just a guess RE: Future scheduling - SuperFlyBCat - 11-15-2013 12:17 PM Whit Babcock @WhitBabcock 23m "@Bearcat_ED30: @WhitBabcock can you give us a hint to who it may be?" / one opponent has an animal as mascot one does not :) RE: Future scheduling - Ring of Black - 11-15-2013 12:21 PM Toledo is a rocket, and Ohio is a bobcat RE: Future scheduling - SuperFlyBCat - 11-15-2013 12:22 PM (11-15-2013 12:21 PM)BJUnklFkr Wrote: Toledo is a rocket, and Ohio is a bobcat Toledo is already on the schedule at PBS for 2014. That would be awesome! I fear UMass, Dayton, or someone along those lines. RE: Future scheduling - JackieTreehorn - 11-15-2013 12:33 PM Last night on his radio show TT was talking about how much he would like to play UCLA because he's never coached a game in the Rose Bowl. Doubt it's related to this announcement, but if it was that would be a great road trip. By the way, when the **** is SDSU going to return the game we played over there? RE: Future scheduling - Ring of Black - 11-15-2013 12:58 PM I share the concerns that the opponents will not be that big a deal, but I think if he's giving us something of a build up, the opponents will probably be somthing fairly significant. I know people were disappointed that he did this build up prior the the BYU announcement (mainly because I would hardly call them "marquee"), it is definitely a game I love to have on the schedule. Moreover, if 2018-19 game is a continuation of BYU, then I am pretty happy. RE: Future scheduling - BearcatMan - 11-15-2013 01:02 PM Well a few of those schools would have to be eliminated due to conference affiliation, and I would hope he wouldn't be building up for Sun Belt or MACtion...so here is the list sans those teams. Alabama Crimson Tide Arizona State Sun Devils USC Trojans Florida State Seminoles Miami Hurricanes Georgia Bulldogs Illinois Fighting Illini Indiana Hoosiers Notre Dame Fighting Irish Purdue Boilermakers Iowa State Cyclones Michigan State Spartans Ole Miss Rebels Nebraska Cornhuskers UNLV Rebels Rutgers Scarlet Knights Syracuse Orange Duke Blue Devils North Carolina Tar Heels Wake Forest Demon Deacons Ohio State Buckeyes Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma State Cowboys Texas A&M Aggies Tennessee Volunteers Vanderbilt Commodores Texas Tech Red Raiders Utah Utes Virginia Cavaliers West Virginia Mountaineers I would also hazard a guess that Illinois and Purdue wouldn't be on our schedules again so soon after a home and home series with both. |
