FAU wins vs Tulane (Vegas wins too!) (good game FAU) - JDTulane - 11-02-2013 07:12 PM

GG FAU moves to 3-6 vs a now 6-3 Tulane squad. Our 4 interceptions in 4 passes = amazingly craptastic but yall had bad luck in turnovers as well.

Our offense blew chunks and our d lost its oomph in the 4th.


Glad your team could rally in the wake of all its drama. Hope you finish strong and make a bowl 04-cheers

I thought for sure that Tulane was going to win the conference championship with their 110th ranked offense. I'm astounded by their inability to effectively move the football.

lol, you guys had 4 interceptions on 4 consecutive passes? That's almost as bad as WKU's 5 turnovers in 5 consecutive plays earlier this year against Tenn.

Hate to see Tulane lose after having a solid season, but very happy to see FAU have a solid game.

Yep, since we had to play on Halloween, we went to the Tulane game in costume as Memphis.

Then you would have won...Memphis is 13-3 against Tulane going back to 1990...we've won 7 straight in the series.

That being said....Congrats to FAU on the win. Also a congrats to Tulane for making strides with their football program. I don't think anyone seen that coming.

Please...I would much prefer a football conference with teams like Cincy, ECU, UCF, Houston, Navy, UConn, Tulane, Tulsa, etc...over playing teams like FIU, FAU, UAB, ODU, Charlotte, La Tech, USM, UTEP, etc.

And top it off with conference basketball games against UConn, Cincy, Temple, Tulsa, UCF, hell even SMU now that they have Larry Bown.

Not to mention the money from the TV Contract and BE war chest money...I'll take 3 million a year over the craptastic CUSA deal.
