Need to add the Rockford IL feed to the NIU Kent st game

RE: 10/5 TeeVee - Michael the Narwhal - 09-30-2013 03:34 PM

How is it that a Chicago station is showing EMU/Buffalo, but not NIU/Kent? The most logical thing to do to get a following going, and they screw it up 04-bs

The CMU/Miami game needs to be relegated to ESPN Ocho.

"will be televised by the league's new partner, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, and available locally on WTVO-DT2 (Rockford's MyNetworkTV). Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. (CT) from Kent State's Dix Stadium.

Rockford's MyNetworkTV can be found over the air on channel 17.2, on channel 16 for Comcast and Charter customers in the Rockford area and on DirecTV Channel 18. The NIU-Kent State game will air on Time Warner Cable Sportschannel throughout Ohio and in Erie, Pa. on channels 1311 (HD) and 311 on Time Warner Cable systems. In addition, Comcast SportsNet Chicago will air the NIU-Kent State game throughout Chicagoland on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m."

I checked the TV listings and TWSports also covering this live in Milwaukee, WI so NIU will get some coverage.

Interesting because athletics says it will be on a tape delay at 7pm.

@NIUAthletics: FB TV Note...just learned Time Warner Cable Sportschannel in Milwaukee will air NIU-Kent State game tape-delay Saturday at 7 p.m. Ch. 32

I'm in the D.C. area and will feast on MAC FB Saturday.

Two games at noon on television on the local sports channels.

Does it get any better than that? :)

Don't let anyone tell you that the MAC hasn't made great strides in television since the last time the government shut down. (I bought my house in 1995 and made sure it has a clear view of the south/southwest sky so I could get DirecTV and their GamePlan package and all of the games on regional sports channels).

BTW, is BSU an upset special vs. UVa?
