AAC Team Beats The Spartans! - sfink16 - 09-07-2013 04:29 PM

At the AAC had a team beat the Spartans this weekend. No, not the Michigan State Spartans, the team that USF lost to, but Rutgers beat the Norfolk State Spartans!02-13-banana03-banghead

I wish Louisville had gotten some good ooc matchup. The AAC needs some quality wins in the worst way.

Not much left in quality wins this week unless you count a Memphis win over Duke as quality. I hope it happens since it is a P5 team. Looking ahead to next week we have UCF at Penn State (certainly a needed win), Louisville over Kentucky (L-Ville is still in conference this year), and Maryland at UCONN (can they lick their wounds and win?).

Yes, no way for UL to predict the current conference lineup, but very weak OOC schedule: Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, UK (in-state rivalry, so I get it, but their WKU loss hurts), and FIU (as a UCF fan, we put our backups in 3rd qtr in a 38-0 win) - they look good but the OOC will hurt them.

It is not our fault we tried to get Georgia, TAMU, and Alabama with no love, not our fault but it means no ooc teams that matter.

There are plenty of good teams available. Not buying the "they won't play us" excuse.

31 month old articles? Okay. You don't have to believe it, but UofL has struggled to get home and home with quality teams. We even enlisted ESPN for assistance before this season in news that isn't 31 months old.
