this place is more active than hoop, with much better mods

my only complaint is a lack of pac12 posters, & not enough liberals

It could be. We definitely need more Big 12 posters on the Big 12 forum. It is good to discuss big-picture topics and other relevant items that relate to the conference without it being too heavily tilted to one school (as many Rivals and other boards can be, since they're aimed at specific fanbases) or being just endless smack talk.

I am a moderate Republican and I can talk with any liberal, provided they don't fly off the handle the first I disagree with their politics. I've found many liberals to be just as annoying with their leftist ideals, as the religious kooks who occupy the religious right. Moderation is what our country needs. Wake me up when that happens. Oh, and my real name is Rumplestilskin. LOL

This isn't my board but I would say that this isn't the place to talk politics. No need to discuss liberals or conservatives, democrats or republicans and how many of each are here.

Lets just keep it sports then. There are more liberals here than you think. There are a lot of AAC posters here and that's not a very conservative region.

How did politics enter the discussion. This is a SPORTS forum...01-lauramac2 That said, I think you will find that the folks on this board know their stuff when it comes to sports and the complicated world behind it. Welcome aboard.

Besides...you and I get along, and if a Jayhawk and a Tiger can co-exist politely and without undue rancour, anyone can! 04-cheers

I have always felt like there have been more fans of schools from the eastern half of the country on top of the lack of Big 12 posters.

I believe they're referring to the Spin Room on this site, and I know the Memphis board has an active area for politics/religion discussion. Only good thing about it is that it generally keeps that talk from these threads.

So do "conservatives".
