UAH unveiled it's new brand strategy. The "A" in "UAH" is severely minimalized.

This is marketing and branding genius. They are pissing on UA, no other way of saying it. It's about as clear a message as possible, while still giving the impression that it's somehow related to NASA and the Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering reputation of UAH (Letters slanted inward, upwards toward space, etc.).

Agreed. I think it's a cool logo, but if I didn't know what UAH was, I'm not sure i would have any idea what this says

I like it, although I thought they were going by University of Alabama Huntsville and dropping the "in" entirely.

Just wondering - Is the UA campus "in Tuscaloosa" or "at Tuscaloosa"? (according to the actual wording of the legal papers setting up the UA System)

We changed it because the Feds kept reading the "in" as a locational reference and sending our money to Tuscaloosa. As in the University of Alabama is IN Birmingham. True story...
