Let me note that this site is very good at mining domain registrations for making predictions on radio station changes (format, name/branding, dial position, etc.).
So unless this law firm is being thorough enough to register several domains to throw people off...

I hate the name, but one silver lining (if true) is it will be listed first on the standings page of many websites (espn, yahoo sports, etc).

I'm pretty sure USM is in the ACC in most parallel universes. This just happens to be a very crappy universe.

"Conference USA" sucks as a name, but "America 12" sounds like they didn't learn from or even try to be big time.
So many better options...even "Big America" is better than that, but not by much.

When I was younger, I would hear my Dad talk about how great it was growing up in the '50's, and I always wanted that for myself.
Looking back, I did get to grow up in such a great time period - in the '80's. The country was rocking, both financially & musically. MTV actually played great music videos in it's infancy... the second British Invasion, Springsteen, just good stuff.
I hope & pray one day my kid can look back with fond memories of his decade.
