done
And that is where the game was won....In the last three minutes of the first half.

Thirty two offensive rebounds for UAB....that is a record. Fifty rebounds total, for the night. That is close to a season record. Of course, both teams shot only thirty percent.

The guys have been much more active on the boards, as of late, particularly in the past two games. Their stats show it. Swing and Williams have accounted for 40 rebounds in the past two games, averaging ten rebounds, each. AWESOME! And it makes a HUGE difference in the final outcome when everyone is making every effort to hit the boards on both ends of the court.

Check your box score again. There were 18 offensive rebounds. 32 defensive rebounds.
Oh yes! Duh!

Robert Williams grabbed six offensive rebounds....and Jordan Swing had one offensive rebound and nine defensive rebounds.

That makes such a big difference when they are hitting the boards on both ends....

Just goes to show, you play D and hustle on both ends, you give yourself a chance when the shots aren't falling.

A lot of the offensive rebounds came on one possession where we practiced a tip in drill without success. We had position, kept getting the ball and going back up, but couldn't get it to fall. Marshall was fouling like crazy but no calls were coming.

Yeah, we got several offensive rebounds on the same possessions because we couldn't hit a shot.

The free throw Preston Purifoy missed was only his sixth miss of the season. Purifoy is now 57-63, for 90.5%.

Jordan Swing is 66-80, for 82.5%.

QT has taken 13 free throws - all season!

And high fives. Don't forget the high fives.
