Chatter/Gametime pillowfight [split] Jermaine Lawrence Commits! - BearChatter v2.0 - 02-18-2013 02:10 PM

I thought sure he decommitted after watching the current team embarrass themselves. LOL.

Actually, Chatter can't stand Huggs either (at least that is what he has said in the past). He is simply never happy with UC basketball.

@Gametime: Brendel, as usual, has to toot his own horn like he does on dozens of message boards. Inferiority complex extraordinaire.

@bj: That is where most of the controversy started with me was when Huggs got fired. I hated the timing, but felt it was justified based on his womanizing and drinking. And fans on here got extremely mad at me for taking that attitude. Everything else snowballed from that point on, along with getting divorced which made me depressed, which in turn made me more of an ******* in all of the arguments. Hey........atleast I can admit it. 03-nerner

If you ever want to stop this nonsense, I'd be fine with a truce and moving on. But if you're having too much fun being childish, then rock on.

OK. Continue pissing.

This isn't much of a pissing contest, kind of a let down. I was expecting more.

I agree. Not so much as a torn blouse or a broken nail.

I'd love to, but making a joke when you say something stupid is something I have enjoyed for years. Can we call a truce where I can still make fun of you??? 04-cheers

This pissing match ain't as funny as this one. But I somehow guess Chatter had a mullet like this at some point in his youth.

I didn't say something stupid. I was making a joke. Sure, it wasn't funny. It was more of a tongue in cheek joke, with a jab at the current team's performance and it's impact on recruiting. There was zero seriousness to it.

But have at it.

Beck, Murph, call it what you will. Regardless of the terminology, it disrupts threads, just the same.

I totally agree. And think you were right to move it here. I was just saying I expected a more entertaining back and forth than what it turned out to be. Kind of like in school when everyone gathers round for the big playground fight and then it turns out to be nothing more than a nudge or push before it disappointingly ends. I guess I need to grow up a little bit.

RE: Chatter/Gametime pillowfight [split] Jermaine Lawrence Commits! - Crewdogz - 02-19-2013 07:48 PM

D-Day (Bruce McGill): War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter (Tim Matheson): [whispering] Germans?
Boon (Peter Riegert): Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough... [thinks hard] the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go! [runs out, alone; then returns] What the **** happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer -
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: Let's do it.
Bluto: LET'S DO IT!!
