Akron only beat them by 4....sometimes rivalry games are closer than what they appear they should be on paper. I think Kent has better talent than record shows

Too dangerous only for the EMU team! They may be in danger of a heart attack (or at least fainting) if they see the stands filled by 10X the # of fans that they get for a game in Ypsi.

Buffalo wins on the road at Miami 79-71.
In two games this week, Tony Watson has had 55 points on 17/25 shooting including 12/18 from three to go with 8 assists and only 1 turnover. MAC East POTW for sure.

At 12-0 in conference play Akron ties the best start in MAC history.
5,247 at the BG game is the third highest attendance at the JAR this season.
Akron has also officially clinched a bye to the semi's in the MAC tournament.
And the weird thing is, this team is not playing nearly as well as they should be.
Big game next Friday!

There is lots of talent there for sure. Surprised at the attendance figure though. You would think the people of Akron would be really getting behind this team.

I went to the game with a couple of my buddies, and due to a lapse of judgment we arrived 20 minutes late. We had a hard time finding 3 seats together and ended up in the second to last row of the bleacher seating.
The number might look low, but the JAR was full.
