In case some here do not read the hockey posts.
$1 million donation for Lawson Arena, University Arena

Anyone know if this is the largest gift to WMU sports in history?.
I know football received some big donations when Waldo was upgraded

Baseball had one either his big or bigger from Bobb for the upgrade at Hyames

I'd rather they put up a new scoreboard and audio system at Waldo. I can live with the antiquated board at UA, and don't even pay attention to the board at Lawson (score's 2-1, I can keep up). Power play clock works fine. Place seems loud with or without the new audio. Football is too quiet an atmosphere and relies too much on the band and their old fogy music to entertain.

I would say if Fleck has any success out of the gate with the Football program we will likely see another large cash donation strictly for Waldo upgrades... just my gut feeling.

This money goes to Lawson and University Arena, if I read it right.
I'll throw out a few other big donors... Seeley Center and the Bill Brown complex.. I have no idea how much they contributed, but I'd venture a guess they were both substantial.
I'll also mention the Robert Bobb donation for the baseball field restoration..

Also says we could upgrade video board at waldo if there is enough money left.

Frankly, the bowling alley should be put back in the Student Union below the bookstore.

Unfortunately, it now IS the bookstore.

...unless they changed it. Again.

R4, play along with us. We're feigning intelligence, sincerity and integrity.

Again, so who made this decision? When was this made? I just rolled a 106 there just the other day.
