Should be done with the beams tomorrow or Thursday!

RE: NEW! CPC Pictures! - timxlydon - 02-05-2013 11:50 AM

Granted I'm looking at these pictures on my iPhone, does it look tall enough to punt inside of?

Are those concrete prefab walls on those trucks?

Did you see where they were staging them...to see if that was the first load or not?

RE: NEW! CPC Pictures! - huskie2379 - 02-05-2013 11:58 AM

So after the beams the siding and roof will go up?

Looks like the prefab walls are next.

Maybe the roof is installed in parallel.

Interesting perspective from the south end of HS. Thx for posting.

Height for Punts

Indoor track able to hold indoor meets...also NOT cutting in on the football field.

Gold plated urinal trough only for Dog Fan

A football filed wouldn't fit inside a 200m competition track. This is a practice facility, not a field house.

The pics look good to me.

I wonder how the outdoor complex is going. The latest pics online are from November.

Will the football team will use that as well!!

Running game and passing game works in the IPF!
Kicking teams work in Huskies Stadium because you would want all kickers getting use to the winds in DeKalb!
Then you can have another squad practice at the outdoor complex? maybe third string?

What do you think?

I totally agree.

The only part of the kicking game that I would bother with practicing inside are fakes and onside kicks.

I doubt we have the coaching resources to have another squad practicing. Is there a limit set by NCAA or the MAC to the number of GA coaches? I wonder what the SEC big boys do?

The Kickoff, Punt, Kickoff Return and Punt Return teams can all use the CPC. The Jugs machine can do the "kicking." It can be set for any trajectory and distance.

Another wild card not discussed much is that the Chicago Bears will at one point be looking for a new Training camp facility. Hmmmm....

I still think that we will be the leading bidder for the 2014 camp with our outdoor sports complex as the area which actually holds the camp along with the new dorms.
