Honestly... I wouldn't be shocked if it grows to more than Field Hockey.

I agree totally. Was down in Norfolk last year twice and easily could see that eventaully..... would totally fit.

man- imagine if ECU hadn't gotten in to the BE yet- this thread REALLY wouldn't have gone well at all.....

There's a reason ECU fans were really unhappy about ODU and especially Charlotte being added, and it wasn't just because of them being at the FBS level and/or non-existent. We are all smart enough to know that the both of them are going to be attractive Big East candidates in very short order.

The thing is, I think ODU is similar to what UTSA is- a program in a big market- with little to no pro sports(none for ODU, only the Spurs for UTSA). It's a sports rich area down there. If ODU goes about it right, they're just giong to explode...

I think Charlotte faces more obsticles with the Panthers and Hornets(err, Bobcats still I guess)....

Well yes and no. In a way it's a compliment that many of us believe they will get taken by the Big East eventually, but it's more about what the Big East values.
