I wanted WKU in but thought the lack of Tech kept both WKU and MT in. Sorry MT...every Belt team deserved a bowl.

He allowed the New Orleans Bowl to take ULL too early, which ticked off Go Daddy. if he had made New Orleans wait, its entirely possible we could have worked things out to get all 4 teams bowling. As it is, the Go Daddy fought hard to not release ASU to LIberty, which got Liberty upset and made them take Iowa State.

Hate to say it cause I like MT but once you announced move, Benson did what an SBC Commish should do and pushed for the teams not leaving. Saw this coming a mile away. Unfortunate for the MT players, should have never been..

Wasn't our fault. Other sources broke news. We should have asked CUSA to wait but maybe we didn't know they were voting and extending offer that morning? Doesn't seem likely.

Sounds to me like he left it up to the presidents. Our beef should be with them not him. He may have just figured out a way to keep you guys together after all-have the current presidents tick off 4 of the future voting members.

It is quite ironic that the 4 teams leaving the Sun Belt are not bowling.
