TCU down 20 now. It's a shame we couldn't pull it out today-I think we would have matched up well with Northwestern.

Looks like it will be a rematch of our old conference foe, TCU. They are down 48-23 with 6:23 to go. I am guessing by their scores, that they play pretty good defense, but suck offensively.

Ugh. Well hopefully we can win big and move on to next week. We need to escape South Padre 4-2 and get back home to keep working on getting better. Our next 3 are all on the road, and UNC and MTSU will be very very tough. Troy might be tough because of their large distracting Redneckvision.

I don't think TCU is more talented than UAB, but it scares me only because TCU likes to slow the game down as well. So far, in games where we've been slowed down we end up struggling. UAB has to punish teams that try to zone us as well. I hope that once we get Whitaker back, he can help us shoot a little better from the perimeter. Terrence Jones used to be a little better from the perimeter, so I hope he gets things going again to give us someone other than Swing who can help us out. Otherwise, I suspect we're going to face a lot of zone defenses for the rest of this season. And UAB also has to get better at punishing teams that trap and use full court pressure, just like Coach Haase said.
