West Virginia Clinches Regular Season Big 12 Soccer Title

The Conference title marks the sixth regular season championship for coach Nikki Izzo-Brown and the WVU soccer program, which is currently ranked 19th in the nation.
The Mountaineers entered the day with 19 points with one match remaining at Texas, the league's second-place team. The Longhorns fell this evening at Baylor, 2-1 in double overtime, to secure WVU a point total that cannot be equaled.
