Middle Tennessee 48, Memphis 30 - Ole Blue - 09-15-2012 09:57 PM
Game wasn't as close as the score indicates. It was 41-17 before the second and third string was put it for MT and Memphis got a few points. Good win for the Blue Raiders, and FINALLY the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders have a WINNING RECORD!! 2-1!! We've equaled our win total from last year, now it's time to go get some more. Our O looked good from what I hear.

Memphis had zero turnovers at ASU and only lost by 5 on the road.
Memphis had three turnovers at home and basically handed the game to MTSU on a silver platter.
Regardless of the two scores, ASU is a much better team than MTSU. The Blue Raiders just played us on a night when we couldn't hang on to the ball. If we had played like we did last week against ASU, Memphis wins tonight.

I don't know if you were talking to me specifically or not, but I wasn't gloating, in fact, I was playing down our win. The ASU poster said he was scared by the fact we beat Memphis by a larger margin than they did and I was pointing out that Memphis didn't play as well against MT than they did against ASU.

I wouldn't say ASU is much better than MT at this point. There just isn't enough evidence.

When did the Sunbelt pass Memphis? Has to be at least a couple of years ago.
