I like the light gray background a la C-USA and UAB boards. Don't like the bold/harsh colors as much..

RE: New Team Skin Under Development // New Subdomain - Monarch_Pride - 05-18-2012 11:43 AM

I could go for some Carolina blue, one of our secondary colors, incorporated into the theme somewhere.

This look - derived from the current C-USA skin - should tie fans over until I really get around to skinning it.

To be honest, I think this is perfectly fine. IMO, simplicity, clarity, and colors/patterns that are easy on the eye are best on a message board.

Regardless, thanks for what y'all are doing.

You're welcome.

I agree COMPLETELY. Love the simplicity here. The background colors, the banner = all perfect for me.

Fan of the theme as it is now. Simple and clean always wins. Great job moderating. thanks!

Glad you guys are satisfied!!
(please be sure to tip the skinmaster -- e.g. bump the reputation)

I'm actually going to experiment with the top of the page and create a look similar to that of the ACC board's header/banner. I'll put it on one of the unused forums and get feedback.

BTW -- now that we're fully immersed in the "digital/social" age, do you fellas (and ladies) have a main Twitter and/or Facebook Page you'd like to link to from here...?

Where is ours ecu...?

RE: New Team Skin Under Development // New Subdomain - ecuacc4ever - 05-21-2012 09:27 AM

Coming up... you got a preferred board name?

RE: New Team Skin Under Development // New Subdomain - bit_9 - 05-21-2012 09:37 AM

Can you change the href to point back to the root of our ODU board when you click the lions den banner?

I think this is great as is. The look is clutter-free and easy on the eyes, so who can ask for more? Reputation points for you! I very much enjoy what you guys have going on here and you should be complimented for a job well done.

The only change in functionality I would love to see is having it automatically jump to the first unread post when clicking on a thread, instead of having to click on the the "go to first unread" green arrow icon. There are only 2 forums I visit that work this way so I know it is not common, but I love it because it enables me to navigate the forum super fast without touching the trackpad. Just planting the thought in your heads for sometime in the future! 03-wink

RE: New Team Skin Under Development // New Subdomain - Monarchs - 05-21-2012 02:12 PM

I actually agree with Kevin's last point about having to click the small green arrow. Don't know if there are other problems with changing this, but it's a nice thought..

Hey, I saved you some time if you want it! I can give you the .psd if you would like to make some changes. Or scrap it, you know, whatever 04-bow

Increase font size of Old Dominion Monarchs and I think you are golden.
