UC is currently 44 in the RPI.
The NCAA Selection Committee has UC the 22nd overall seed.
That's a pretty big whiff by the RPI.

I'm not familiar with the RPI formula, but I think the discrepancy represents that its just a tool to be consulted. No computer is going to be able to perfectly represent how deserving every team is.
