Big baseball fan and even bigger fan of Greg Goff, but non-conference has never been the issue. A softer Big South from top to bottom should help the conference record however. Go Camels!

Excited about this season's start and looking forward to league play.

We need to start giving more attention to baseball on here. Will be more fun to watch since we're back in the Big South.

I never said the non-conference was EASY but just stating that usually the record was decent to good.

2011: 17-37 OVERALL, 14-10 Non-Conference, 3-27 ASun
2010: 28-27 OVERALL, 20-8 Non-Conference, 8-19 ASun
2009: 27-24 OVERALL, 20-5 Non-Conference, 7-19 ASun

Like I said before in the earlier post, I LOVE Coach Goff and I think he is the PERFECT man for the job, but I want to reserve any crazy excitement for after the first few conference matchups. I again think that a softer league schedule will benefit CU. Traditionally, the Big South is a one bid league unless Coastal loses the tournament. The ASun was a multiple bid league for most of CU's tenure. Sometimes that league received as many as three teams in tournament.
