Ohio State just re-offered him.

He would fit in well there. LOL

It's pretty clear that this was a LOI to Marshall.

Wrong Torchy, MU backed off and the kid verballed OU and was going to sign with them from what the media in Huntington is reporting. Yeah, he would fit in well in Columbus.

Between sitting in jail with a $250,000 bail figure and his low GPA, I don't think he'll see a D-I field anytime soon.

Yeah, I can think of no more objective source.

Regardless, kids change their mind, right up to signing day. This kid made a big overture toward Marshall. Embrace him, he's keen to add his part to the rich tradition.

For what it's worth.....BG, Ohio and Toledo offered his friend on Friday morning to try to sway Rogers. Toledo did a visit with Rogers in his school on Friday afternoon and pulled the offer after the visit. I've been told they pulled the offer to both guys because they no longer wanted Rogers after seeing his school transcripts and they got a feeling he had some character issues after meeting with him in person. It is my understanding that BG and Ohio kept on him and Rogers and his friend visited Ohio over the weekend. Rogers obviously didn't sign after getting arrested, but his friend did sign with Ohio.

Glad Toledo passed on this kid... Something (moral values) that the school down in C-bus were willing to overlook, if not for academic issues...

While we're clucking our collective tongues over this Lewis kid....let's consider Youngstown State signee Byron Pringle. He's a very explosive WR/KR from Fl...an insanely good get for a MAC school let alone YSU.

Of course...he was available because he's had some issues...

The real question is...if he goes on another crime spree in Youngstown, who's gonna notice?

Perhaps he Youngstown recruited him in part to go on crime sprees.
