Rumor has it that you guys took the NIU LB coach "Tuke" any news on your end?

NIU's defense was comparable to Toledo's this year, only we never figured things out and improved at the end of the season like NIU did. I'm not sure I really want another MAC team's LB coach. Unless it was a team with a good defense like maybe OU, or Temples... I've heard nothing of such news.

By the end of the year, I believe NIU had the best defense in the MAC. One of the most remarkable turn arounds in conference history for one side of the ball. That just screams coaching in my opinion. And for the record, NIU outscored OU 23 to 20.

Tuke is presently the LB coach @ NIU. He would only leave for a position upgrade to DC. He led us to victory in the Humanitarian Bowl when Kill left. He is a great guy and a great coach. I believe he has gone to Toledo.

The defense figured out Air Force particularly in the second half.
