in Arkansas who don't receive D1 offers, for instance like Matt Mouzy.
That's where we could probably find a pure shooter. They end up at D2 schools, and obviously some have the talent to play at our level.
I've seen others in the past when we played UCA before they were D1, and other D2 Arkansas schools. A great shooting 5'9" guard can play in the Sun Belt. Maybe we are looking and can't find one very often. But I'd be looking around the state for kids out in the state who fit the Mouzy mold. Kids that can shoot, but need some work on defense and strength, which we can provide. I know Steve has always recruited tough hard nosed kids who fit his defensive system, which is fine. This is not intended to be critical, but just something that could add a needed dimension to our team on a regular basis. But you need at least one pure shooter, and not many great defensive players can be taught to be good shooters, but great shooters can be taught to play adequate defense.
