It is a bit troubling to see Maine give the Panthers a scare, it does take some of the shine off of UB's game against Pitt.
Overall a good week for our opponents. Nobody is going to look down on NIU for losing to Kansas, well almost nobody.
We are coming into the part of the season where we root like heck for the teams we have played (as always this does not apply to Temple). Last year, for example, Rhode Island was suposed to be the EMU of their conference (or the Akron). Instead they ran up a modest little record and took down some ranked FCS teams in doing it.
