It's been nine months since there's been any kind of serious fight over there. You're an extremist who generalizes what the atmosphere over there is like all the time, when that's not the case. It's been very good for a long time. And from what I've seen of you on this board, you're no different from those who cause problems over there when the going gets rough. Right, and with terms like "your own kind" being touted I guess I'm the one generalizing. You made my point for me though, "my kind" seems to be people who have a different opinion than the blind majority (of 15 posters). If they speak up it is considered rocking the boat or not being a real fan. In other words, utter bull**** being masqueraded as a hip scene.

So, if I fall in line with you, and agree that no matter what Troy is the greatest damn place on Earth, their football team deserves to be in the National Championship, and Larry Blakeney is god all mighty (with the exception of your god which has to be flaunted everywhere on that site) then I'm a cool guy. I've already explained this to you once. That people that haven't posted lately are the ones who are insulting and otherwise problematic. They left on their own, no one was banned to my knowledge. We won our bowl game in superior fashion so there was nothing for them to get bent out of shape.

Most people don't don't mind having a different opinion at gtt.com. It's the personal attacks that made them not very well liked, not their opinions. The people who supported Troy wholeheartedly had every insult in the book thrown at them. And when they retaliated, the ones who wanted Rowell and others fired whined that "their opinions couldn't be voiced without hostility', when in fact is was them who flung the insults in the first place and were far more problematic than the rest of us.

All I'm saying is you possess the very same hostile traits that you condemn in the others. It's not your opinions that people get bent out of shape over, it's your brash and offensive way getting your point across. I can't get any clearer than that.
