In the past 4 days, Presbyterian has beaten an SEC team (Auburn) and an ACC team (Wake Forest) and likely pocketed about $150,000 in the process. Only one question- Does a Christian school really have lady's stockings as a nickname?

I think years ago "hose" was used in a more generic sense for anything cloth footwear.
