Since you are the one who posted the nonsense it is not on my shoulders to spend my time researching YOUR mistakes to prove anything. go jump on Google and look up the FBS move-up criteria, the stats comparing the Sun Belt and the SWAC, and the politics behind Conferfence USA expansion and why Troy is not at the top of their list.

I got the pleasure of watching 2 different SWAC schools play SBC schools in the last 3 years. The SWAC teams lost by 59 and 73, and the opponent of both teams in each case failed to win the conference or make a bowl.
and you want to argue with us, that SWAC football is no different then SBC football?

I admire his enthusiasm but that door is shut. A few more will get in due to expansion (maybe) but not many more. Once all conferences get to 16 teams (or whatever they are shooting for) the door is shut. Maybe AState gets in but it will be a long shot. They had better start working on facilities and keep working on them to make themselves as attractive as possible.

Bama State has a history of NCAA violations and racial issues with its school. IF we bring in an FCS program it WON'T be them.

Dude, please to save face just stop lol no one in the Sun Belt is a Alabama. But no one in the SWAC is a Troy in any sport. There is a HUGE parity in the amount of talent in every single sport. Take the SWAC's pride and joy, The Alabama A&M womens volleyball team who goes undefeated like every year. What happened that year they went undefeated and played FSU in a post season game. It was hilarious they didn't belong on the court. Or what happened when this ranked Alabama A&M played a mediocre Troy volleyball team this year? They lost. And let's not get into how the SWAC does in baseball or basketball vs non SWAC teams.

it's always the same when it comes to FCS fans and their dealings with FBS fans. go over to anygivensaturday.com, you'll find some of the most dillusional fans in the country there. they ALL think their program could compete and/or dominate in the Sun Belt. it's just ignorence.

It's because of the occasional loss to an FCS team that happens that they think that. There is a big difference between beating WKU and winning this conference, or even winning a few games. Not to mention playin 2-3 AQ's every year to pay the bills.

C'mon man, are you for real? So you are going to sit there and say that I don't know what I'm talking about in reference to current FBS move-up policy, the SWAC not being as good as the Sun Belt, and Conference USA not wanting Troy based on location and not facilities (post new arena)?
You should just bow out of this one now my friend, you look dumb. keep in mind I'm not calling you dumb, you're just arguing against facts.
You are not giving me facts you are just giving me your opinion. I didn't say the SWAC was not as good. Go back and read what I said. I'm saying that the Sun Belt is not that big of a difference from a lot of FCS schools. The new arena that Troy is getting is still small compared to most FBS arenas. Hell, it's smaller than our arena which seats between 8-9 thousand people. I stand by what I said because you make it like it's impossible for Alabama State and other schools to move up. Sun Belt won't be that big of a difference if ASU decides to make the jump to FBS.

Alabama State is stuck in the SWAC, which is a crappy FCS Conference. your teams are cannon fodder for our teams, we use yall to pad our schedules with easy wins.
