LEVELLAND, Texas - Sajoyia Griffin, Tramar Sutherland and Josh Orta all signed national letters of intent to continue their college basketball careers Friday afternoon inside the T-Club lounge located at the Texan Dome.
SPC Texan head coach Steve Green said that some of Sutherland's recruiting paperwork listed him to be 6 feet, 6 inches tall when he looked to add him to the Texan roster two years ago. Green then added that he certainly came and played like he was.
Sutherland has signed with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Green believes he will be the ‘glue' player UALR needs.
"When they came to watch him they said that he is nothing like anything they have," Green said.
