Question for any Ivy League followers - mattsarz - 01-09-2010 12:47 PM

For the football coaches, the position of head coach sometimes has the name of an alumni attached to it (I assume its an alum). Does that mean that alum has some form of financial contribution/endowment that pays the salary of the head coach?

For example, Tom Williams is the "Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of Football"
