A campaign has been started by some folks to wear paper bags over the heads to the game this weekend. Supposedly there are over 500 people already planning to play along.
My request for anyone that goes to the game...set the bag heads on fire, and then give them directions to the Green Street Bridge.

While I can see why people are upset... bag wearing is not cool.
I do have to admit though... it appears that something is amiss when for 6 straight games in the 2nd half we have gotten owned, delay of game penalties with a 6yr qb, and a lot of gaffs on offense and defense. This current 3-3 record has a totally different vibe than last years 3-3 start. Last year we hit a injury bug that required new guys to step up and new chemistry to be formed... this year is the tale of stupid mistakes, inability on offense, and 2nd half ineptness.

It's the same think we've done every year under Skip. We'll get a big win, hopefully against Rice and all will be forgotten. We'll handle Memphis and people will start predicting a win against VaTech. We'll get killed by VT and people will scream that we suck. We'll then make our run at the east division crown and either a) lay an egg in the next to last or last week, or b) somehow manage to pull it off and play UH at UH for the title.
Of course, everything I've written could be horribly wrong.

Agree something is up with Pinkney.... is he so locked in as the starter that noone can challenge him, even in releif, when things are going south.

Pink can't throw the long pass. He just doesn't have the arm strength anymore. His strength is making the short pass to a receiver that is standing and waiting for it.

The bag over their heads thing was done years ago and was in response to our basketball team and them wanting Ricky Stokes fired. This TH e-mail was about something completely different, someone e-mailed him talking about how it's hard to root for the Pirates after we lost to SMU and TH put him in his place. About half of the people saying stupid things are Tarhole and Wolfpecker trolls, so I don't pay any attention to it. There's a few lunatic fringe fans that actually believe this stuff, but they're so insignificant when it really comes down to it.
