Tony Franklin to MTSU, opinions? - ATTALLABLAZE - 02-11-2009 12:46 AM

I think he is a really good coach and think he will do well at MTSU. I thought he was totally screwed over at Auburn.

Next question, give me some info on your offensive coordinator.

Neal Brown was Tony's "apprentice" for the duration of his career. He played QB for Tony at Kentucky. Since then he has coached under Tony at the collegiate and Arena levels. He runs the Tony Franklin System offense, but has changed it a bit to suit his own style. We run the ball a LOT more under Neal, even using the Pistol formation a good bit. I am a big TF guy, but I'm becoming an even bigger NB guy. He provides us with a great system, but really emphasises the run. We have some truely great runningbacks, so that is definitely a good thing. Our starter, DuJuan Harris, could start for any team in the SEC.
