I do like birds or at least bird watching, bird feeding or what ever it's called. My nephew has several Africa grey parrots that talk and do all kinds of trick. The best trick is the bird does a perfect phone ring and drives them crazy!
His daughter said a bad word once and the bird repeated it many times and sounded just like my great neice. She was busted big time!

oh Jeb...if you only knew....I used to raise toy and tiny toy poodles back in the day. I only had 8 at one time though and that's how/why I taught myself how to groom. Now that I have KoKo it comes in handy...saves me about $1,000 a year in grooming charges. The bird thing started out with a parrot that I rescued that was mean as a snake...made all kind of racket and bit everyone but me. Josh and Sunshine hated that bird. Then I made the mistake of buying 2 parakeets to kinda keep him company and calm him down. Well...let's just say that evidently the mood/setting was right for bird romance because they started multiplying quickly. I had every color under the sun. I had to get custom made cages to hold about 20 each. I had one whole room nothing but birds. The only reason I sold them was because I was moving to an apartment while my house was being built 13 years ago. They were sweet birds and really pretty. I sold them to a pet shop in Overton Square. I miss them.
