The terrorist vote - THE NC Herd Fan - 04-18-2008 05:21 AM

Obama has commanding lead among terrorist groups

Quote:Two years ago, Hatem El-Hady was the chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen. Today, El-Hady has redirected his fundraising efforts for his newest cause - Barack Obama for President.

El-Hady has his own dedicated page on Barack Obama’s official website, chronicling his fundraising on behalf of the Democratic Party presidential candidate (his Obama profile established on February 19, 2008 - two years to the day after Kindhearts was raided by the feds). Not only that, but he has none other than Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, listed as one of his friends, one of her 224 listed friends.

So let's review the following have either heaped praise, endorsed or are actively campaigning for Obama

1) Hamas
2) Hatem El-Hady
3) The New Black Panthers
4) William Ayers
5) FARC
6) Fidel Castro
7) Daniel Ortega
8) Hugo Chavez
9) Jodie Evans
10) Maria Isabel
11) Ali Abunimah
12) Louis Farrakhan

Doesn't this cause concern to any liberals following Obama? An Obama spokesman didn't back away from the Hamas endorsement rather commented on how flattering the Kennedy comparison included in the endorsement is. Don't you worry about the kind of people that are bank rolling Obama via his internet based fund raising?

I will agree...This man is dangerous for our nation. He is running an ad here in NC touting his plan to steal profits from the oil companies...I simply cant support this type of direct governmental interference in the free market...He is simply pandering.

I will say though...That Im sure that McCain is supported by equally dangerous terroristic organizations that make up the industrial military complex....One mans security is another mans threat.

Its a damn shame that in a country of 300million that we have these 3 as the choice of leadership...It looks as If I will again be voting for the Libertarian candidate.

Why would they? Republicans, and conservatives in general like myself, have guns.

Yeah, remind me how many votes Paul received? 03-lmfao

Besides, Libertarians were in the "conservative" category I was mentioning as they are conservative on that matter.

No need to remind...You proved my point...voting is useless.

Obama doesn't have any control over who says good things about him. As for Hamas, for example, if they believe that Obama is less likely to support Israel regardless of what Israel does, it is not surprising that they would prefer him to McCain.

I couldnt care less about who supports this Socialist candidate.
My daughter went to see this guy yesterday at East Carolina U....He packed the BB venue w/9k.....Even she thought his plan to tax the oil companys for "windfall profits" as a silly idea....Since ONLY individuals pay income tax and businesses simply pass their taxes on to the consumer as part of their overhead...What in the hell does he think will happen if his plan is adopted?...Oh yeah..the oil companies are just going to be good little folks and not pass this stupid tax on to us....Just Brilliant!!!!

In some ways, Obama seems pretty smart. Seems like he has potential. I didn't hear the details of that plan of his, so I can't comment except to say that some of his plans are just too far left. Although, when businesses pass the tax on to consumers, at least in most cases consumers can choose to cut down on or eliminate use of that product. If taxed directly they don't have any choice.

All taxation of business is a direct tax upon consumers though overhead costs. Only individuals pay taxes.

I saw this ad, there is atleast one outright lie in it. his claim of not taking any donations from 'lobbyist' and oil companies. he has, just very little because they never thought he'd get this far last year and bet on Hillary. He has alot worse contributers that than to his campaign to worry about.

that said, the ad is effective politically. rising gas prices are never good for a political party perceived to be in power.

Obama will be torn to shreds in the general I think, starting with an all out blitz from the 527's on stuff the media has been keeping from the news and what little bit has come out. In the end it'll be a questionable unexperienced far-left liberal vs. a 'maverick' who positioned himself well for this election cycle.

all the Dems had to do was nominate a moderate southern Dem and they would hold all 3 branches at same time again given the political cycle we are in.
