Doubt it. Besides, I never said the man could speak. Not once.

And therein lies the problem. When you're the leader of the free world, the president of a country of 300 million English-speaking people (okay, maybe 200 million English-speaking and 100 million Spanish-speaking, but that's another topic), and you have immigrants that have been here for 6-months and speak better English than he does, is it any wonder people think that Bush is dumb?

So what you are saying is that we should only elect attorneys and used car salesmen, because they can articulate thoughts better than others.

That's an old trick. FDR already did it more than 60 years ago.

I realize that this was joke post, but have a read here.

This article is apparently no longer on the website, but google cache has saved it for now.

It does get a bit crazy there at the end, but it does highlight a couple important truths. 1. The American people are wishy-washy and 2. The President can't always make the popular choice based on the good of the nation.

What are you talking about? My 11-year old nephew can articulate thoughts better than Bush. It's not much of an accomplishment.

Or in Bush's case, he can't make the smart choice ever.

I hope you mean it gets a little crazy when it suggests that nukes were the most prudent course of action and not just when it suggested that President-for-Life Bush take over the world.

And I'm just not sure Julius Ceasar is the right choice to emulate in power consolidation. It didn't work out too well for him, after all.

meanwhile, as Castro is dying or dead, the new Castro fully allied with Iran/Hezzbollah and our other enemies, who the right has been insisting is a dictator since his bogus election that Jimmy Carter certified, really is declaring himself "President for Life", ie dictator.

Hugo Chavez to make himself president for life

Sweet. Six hour work days. Now that's proper political pandering.

Yeah, two judges who were given the highest recommendation by the ABA and who both graduated at the top of their Ivy League law schools are terrible choices. Seriously dude, get a clue.
