Do any of you Bush-Bashers think that what happened to the Pentagon happened because of a missile? I really want to know because I JUST heard some place in Toronto is having a BIG convention and one of their speakers, Massan maybe?, states that that is what he believes  . Really, I want to know if any of you conspiracy theorists believe this because I have a few queries about it. Namely, what happened to the flight and what happened to Barbara Olson.

....and you WONDER why I think leftists are kooks.

- Guest - 05-28-2004 05:52 AM

Do any of you neo-cons believe that George Bush is actually a good president?

...and you wonder why I think neos are kooks?

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 08:58 AM

No,

I don't believe missles caused the pentagon attack, nor would I ever believe we have Osama. Now I do believe this may be the MOST incompetent leader we have ever had.

Now let's flip this,

Do you believe W skipped his physicals when it was his time to serve because of the mandaory drug tests that were administrated during the physical???????

Back to the National Gaurd stuff huh? When all else fails, go after the Vietnam record. You libs are getting to be about as bad as the GOPers were for the 8 years of Clinton. It didn't work then, and it won't work now.

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 09:20 AM

The only difference is they went after a guys private life versus a man's public bravado (bring em on cowboy style) to his actual coke snortin woman chasin duty dodging character. Go get em cowboy!!!! 04-rock

- Lethemeul - 05-28-2004 09:34 AM

Uh...

Republicans went after Clinton for draft dodging to no avail.
Republicans went after Clinton for 'woman chasin' to no avail.
"I didn't inhale." :bang:

And how is what you accuse GW of in the above post not 'private'?

Silly, silly.

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 09:43 AM

When they mentioned that Iraq would become a haven for terrorists in the vacuum after Saddam, the man said bring em on. Tough guy macho cowboy. When it was his time to serve he said bring on the coke and women certainly no cowboy there. Direct correlation between his life and his policies. I don't see that with Clinton.

Ah, to be blinded by ideology and party affiliation. Good times.

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 09:54 AM

Blinded?

Did Clinton tell everyone to bring on the bj's?

Did Clinton tell people to smoke mary jane?

buttttttt,

W acts like this marlboro rambo butt kickin man who ACTUALLY in real life is far from.

- Lethemeul - 05-28-2004 10:16 AM

To make your analogy make sense...

Since Clinton is an adulterer and an office-BJ-gettin'-so-and-so, shouldn't he be telling everybody to try it out? Since he is/was a fan of the wacky tabacky, shouldn't he be advising all get high and be happy?

If not, then what he says and what he does are two completely different things, which is one of the things you're upset with Dubya about. Maybe I'm confused?

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 10:34 AM

I'll try to take it S L O W

W

policy bring em on,,,, troops blood his guts. Act like a fighter pilot land on a carrier with a big mission accomplished sign in back. WOW!

character - nothing like anything of the above

Clinton

never had any of the policies you attacked him for. Did not portray it was the way to live. Unlike your guy who portrays something he clearly was not.

Without question we would not have jumped into this war both feet first if this chickenhawk would have ever tasted war. (instead of coke and booze) Now I hope you don't think this analogy is silly. War my friend is NEVER silly. Only a travesty. Keeping people scared and frightened is sad. Playing politics with 9/11 sad. This whole sorry administration sad. Your defending such a sorry record of complete and utter failure sad. The direction of our country sad. From the budget surplus's and where our country was just 4 years ago .... sad. Katherine Harris eliminating some 55,000 votes sad. Dick Cheney and Tony Scalia duck hunting together sad. Haliburton over charging for meals sad. Unbidded contracts in Iraq sad. Worried about my son and daughter paying for this growing deficit sad.

Come November however, I'm pretty sure I'll be glad :) !

- GrayBeard - 05-28-2004 10:38 AM

Clinton policy was to allow Al Quaida to fester and grow....Oh yeah, and to allow them to attack the US over and over and over and over again! So what was his policy on terrorism...Run and Hide?

- Lethemeul - 05-28-2004 10:53 AM

Quote:policy bring em on,,,, troops blood his guts.

Every time a President sends troops into battle it's their blood and his guts.

Quote:[Clinton]never had any of the policies you attacked him for.
I'll be damned.

Quote:Without question we would not have jumped into this war both feet first if this chickenhawk would have ever tasted war.
Ever opened a history book? Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Bush 1 all served in the military during wartime and all led this country in battle as president.

Quote:War my friend is NEVER silly. Only a travesty.
I never said war was silly. I said your 'character' analogy was silly.

To the rest of your post I'll just say...whatever.

Don't try to speak for the troops Dogger. We've been over this. Trust me, they like and admire the man as CinC.

- Dogger - 05-28-2004 11:38 AM

For the life of me I don't understand how you guys can defend W. This war was brought to us by trumped up charges. Reb you can speak for yourself, but do you think you speak for all the troops? As another thread there are some troops who are upset over the lack of preperation and planning. A totally different topic.

Guys he's bad for America. Plain and simple.

Let me give my official opinion on this.....

1st...all of the world was snowed by Saddam and the WMD garbage. And yes, he did have some(probably not as much as intelligence said), we just can't find them.

2nd...Saddam was harboring/helping terrorists.

3rd...I feel the war (initial phases) went extremely well.

4th...I feel that we have become too wimpish in dealing with the insurgency. We should have planned better for this, and we should not pull our punches when dealing with these people.

5th...I would like to see some pressure put on the Saudis, but everyone here knows that will never happen, no matter who is in office.

6th...Gas Prices SUCK!

OK, that is all for now.

You have heard that Al-Sadr (sp?) has agreed to pull his forces out, yes? That's because his troops were getting their arses handed to them daily, no matter how bad the media made the situation seem.

Yeh, I got that. My point is that we should be going in Tanks blazing. If someone takes a pot shot at us from a Mosque or other building, we should bring the building down. Blow it to pieces! No Mercy for these terrorist/insurgent bastards.

Nonsense. Read Clarke's book. Or maybe have someone read it to you. Either way, try and learn something about a subject before trying to discuss it. Rush really doesn't arm you boys well.

"THIS war" was the key phrase. Do you actually believe any of those men would have gotten us into THIS war, in the manner that THIS (p)resident did?
