This received virtually no press. How would things have been handled if the situation were reversed? Tolerance indeed.

HOWARD DEAN, THE favorite to be the next head of the Democratic National Committee, made his case in midtown yesterday, promising to make his party operate more like the GOP - at least when it comes to elections.

"I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for..."

I don't see the big deal with this statement. I would guess that Bush probably hates democrats. We just don't care if he hates us or not.

The party that preaches "tolerance in all beliefs" and "open-mindedness", and you don't see the hypocracy. Seems pretty typical to me.

Along those same lines of "tolerance":

Tampa Man Charged After Anti-Bush Road Rage Incident

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tampa police say a man was arrested for chasing a woman who had a Bush-Cheney sticker on her car.

Police spokesman Joe Durkin says that 31-year-old Nathan Winkler faces felony charges after chasing the woman for miles, allegedly trying to run her off the road and displaying an anti-Bush sign.

One is some lunatic on the road another is the leader of a party.

Quote:Fernandez says she was trying to figure out why Winkler was honking and pointing at his sign that read, "Never Forget Bush's Illegal War Murdered Thousands in Iraq."

Fernandez also says she is a registered Democrat who voted for President Bush in the 2004 election.

wait a minute, she voted for Bush??? WTF?
