Did USA make it also? Great!!! Jax State is out, but they were in with Bama, so only one could advance there...

Will USA also be heading to Gainesville???

USA currently up 7-1 in the 7th so it's just about official

Nope. It's just UAB vs Florida in Gainseville. Whoever wins 2 games of the 3 will advance to World Series.

hey, that's not bad... of course the Lady Water Lizards are quite formidable, but at least we can concentrate on just one team...

Yep, Campbell's sister gave up a grand slam with 2 outs.

They will be haunted by this for quite some time.

To illustrate how "crazy" a ball game can be, USA out hit FSU by 50% (12-8) and lost by one run while UAB was out hit by UCLA about 400% (17-5) but won by one run.

So people were prematurely saying USA advanced? Now it's just UAB and UAT advancing?

Wish we could have made the 3rd Alabama team, but hey, congrats on the win and advancing. You got a nice round of applause at the Mobile regional when the final score was announced.

Florida scored 20 runs in their regional. The rest of the field scored 11 combined. The Blazers need to BELIEVE.

One ancient lizard can fly and breathe fire. One can't.

Who is it that should be afraid?

UCLA scored 26 runs in the 2 games preceding the UAB double. Versus UAB they scored 1, 4, and 2 runs...

What he said.

Plus Florida played in a region that had a pretty good USF team and two teams who couldn't win a beer softball league.

The Blazers will need to play their game and stay focused.
