Thank you MAC
Seriously, I hope the MAC uses some of that $6 million to buy every fan a beer. You guys took our program in when it was in shambles and helped support us to bring it back to respectability. I genuinely enjoyed following MAC football the last several years and will certainly continue to do so into the future. I hope that Temple can continue to schedule MAC opponents and help others realize how competitive this conference can be.

I am a little sad we never won a championship..or a division title..or beat a team with a winning record. Those are things that Temple fans acknowledge and are bothered by, trust me.

I know you guys are angry at Temple for "using" the conference. But you have to understand, the Big East is where Temple belongs and always has. It is our geography, history, peers...we are finally going home. Best of luck for the future

I have to second pzz's thoughts regarding the MAC and I would like to see Temple keep a couple of OOC games with MAC teams every year.

RE: Thank you MAC
Temple was never an attractice OOC opponent.
63 to 7 blowouts got tiresome.

I appreciated a Philly based school for the market.

Disappointed my alma mater was not viewed as a better option for the Big East. So there's always that.

The MAC is weakened by their departure as it was a program on the edge of competing for championships.

Why not keep a series going with Ohio?

The games have been intense and it would be vs. one of the premier MAC programs.

Temple doesn't have the game revenues to bring MAC schools in for 1 and done paydays so something like that above might be in order.

Would love to keep TU-Ohio series going. Ohio is one of my top preferences if BE needs more members (which it inevitably will)

MAC, BE and Temple always seems to be a prearange deal where the Big East was gonna take Temple back. MAC benefited from increased national TV coverage with Temple and 6 millions is a sweet parting gift. MAC is starting to learn how the game is played. They made more money off Temple leaving than anything the MAC has done.

I think keeping Ohio on the schedule as a regular OOC would be great. I know as a Temple fan I want to beat those guys and they are one fo the conferences best.

I'm not angry. This was a contract, and both sides held up their bargain. I hope Temple improves so you can confirm that the BE made a good decision, and it will make the MAC look good. And I hope Temple will schedule MAC teams in a variety of sports.

I have to also thank the MAC for our time in your conference. You guys were great fans and deserve more respect. I would like to continue playing MAC teams in the future. Best of luck and good wishes from this Temple fan.

Very good MAC fans on this board, I thank you for taking us in... Temple was a 20+ y.o. football mess... you helped us start putting our football-house back in order... Also, a shout-out to BGSUalum1987, a good guy on this board!

yeah i think it would be cool to keep the OU-TU game on the schedule. it's certainly developed into a nice little rivalry and would be fun to continue it. i think it would benefit both of us.

I think the fans are more upset with the previous MAC office than Temple. Yes your place is the BE but we just wanted a fat check to make ourselves feel good about not being as cheap of a whore as our previous pimp made us.

I will be rooting for you guys...this year at least...as you are a 100% MAC team transplanted in a "big boy" conference and doing well would hopefully open a few outsiders eyes that the top half of the MAC is fairly good at Football.

I would hope that the conferences bowl performance this year has already started to do that

The only reason Temple went to the BE is because WVU left suddenly and Boise would not come early. Either of those things change Temple is still in the MAC.
