Seemed like for the most part....they were letting everyone play. There were very few fouls called on both sides.

Cincy had 11 PF and USF had 9.....in the whole game. A total of 15 Free Throws were attempted.

I could see the concern about the Foul on Anderson....but not sure what you expected them to do on the call on Collins.

Anyways we are 18-11 and 11-5 in conference

And we went 3-16 on mostly wide open threes. **** happens, hope we see you guys in the BET.

And in case you didn't notice USF has a habit of doing that to teams
They were wide open and we were throwing up bricks. Sorry, I am being a sore loser. I am just going to be so infuriated if this loss keeps UC out of the tournament.

Good game USF. Lucky though. Between the 3-pointer and the free-throw, I believe USF has re-defined "home-town roll" 03-nerner

But, we need to play better, and those wouldn't be a factor.

RE: Bulls 46 Cincy 45
The refs didn't call a foul during the first 12 minutes of the game and did a good job of letting them play.

If you are complaining about the last foul on Collins drive to the basket.....he got mugged. Not sure what game you were watching this afternoon.

BTW, I guess the irony is the strange sense of karma of a Cincy fan complaining about physical play after all those signature, Huggins forged teams of the past.

We aren't complaining on physical play. Either let it happen or call them the whole game. They let them play the entire day then they call an extremely questionable call on Gates with 3 seconds left on shot clock and Yancy even has his hand on the ball. That was a beyond awful call.

Correct the last two fouls had to be called. Yates reached around Anderson right under the basket and Collins got mugged on that drive

there was no consistency, they didn't call anything most of the night, and they would just randomly call touch fouls.

Ok you guys can continue complaining about officiating. It's over we got the win and we are celebrating. Time to move on and your team better do the same because if their minds are still on this game when they play next they will be smoked

Yancy reached his arm straight forward and got his hand on the ball. I guess that's just par for the course with Yancy. He has been getting mugged with the ball all year and he gets called for looking at the guy on the other end. Maybe he shouldn't have punched Frease...

Sorry but You are not going to find many USF fans that are going to apologize for winning another close game. You are also not going to find USF fans complaining about the lopsided foul calls on USF when we played Cuse earlier this week.

BTW.....UC is in the NCAAs already short of some major upsets at the mid major level.

RE: Bulls 46 Cincy 45
congrats on the win Bulls...

You guys imposed YOUR will on the Cats and took the game

no sense pissing and moaning about bad calls...were there bad calls? sure but I'm not mad about that. USF took this one...

oh, and Dixon had one of his signature games that basically kills us....fade away three guarded with 20 sec left on the shot clock isn't an officiating issue, it's a player issue...for eg

Oh, no question in my mind UC should have played better. Shot the ball horribly all day and let Collins get in the paint for those stupid floaters of his. And I don't expect you to apologize for a win, but its tough watching defeat being snagged from the jaws of victory.

The Bearcats still have a pretty good resume....

Even assuming they lose to Marquette and then beat Nova.....I think it would be hard to leave them out.

assuming (a big assumption) we lose to Marq and beat nova (@nova...not easy) I think we need a win in the BET.

This may be blessing in disguise if we end up getting into the dance though...Id rather this UC team be an 11 or 12 instead of a 7-10 which was the projection after we beat UofL...

we would be hell for an unlucky 5 seed if we were a 12

FYI, our other "signature win" against Seton Hall was pretty either....

Seton Hall was down by 1....shooting a 1 and 1 with like 2 seconds left on the clock....and missed the front end FT.

It's not the first time or last time that you or I will see that. It happens. USF has a very good defense and that was a large part of why Cincy hit less than 35% and score 45 points. On the plus side your team played hard and tough defense. These types of games are what you see in the tourney and it will help both teams in how they play them in future

I think the South Florida-West Virginia game to end the season will be an elimination game. Still believe the Big East gets 9 teams in.

You should care b/c the more teams that make it in for the BE....the more cash in your pocket.
