RE: Jeremy Lin is no fluke
i personally love the whole Lin story. I always love when a guy like Lin or Tebow shines on the big stage and is humble about it. Seems so rare these days, unfortunately.

Linsanity and Tebowmania prove that people are a bunch of lemmings.

Right. A Harvard PG dropping 38 on Kobe happens every day.

He's not the first Ivy League guy to have a good game in the NBA. You're sucking up that ESPN kool aid faster than you do Fox's servings!

Hey now, I'm going again tomorrow and for the rest of the week, we have big snow on the way. That's bad karma.
I'm taking that as "break a leg" and meaning good luck.

John Hummer comes to mind. Ask Steve Mix.

RE: Jeremy Lin is no fluke
Bradley was a definite star at both levels. Petrie was a 1st rounder, so it wasn't like he really caught people off guard with his play like Lin has.
The NBA is a strange league. I don't think guys like Petrie or Bradley would get drafted into today's league. The scale's tipped more (probably too much) towards athleticism, and away from basketball skills.
