RE: BIG GAME!
Must-win #2 out of the way! Why do they insist letting teams back into the game, it makes my heart race for no reason.

RE: BIG GAME!
well, we'll win it but we finished poorly at the foul line. Tournament teams cannot keep doing that.

Win 2 of the next 4. Will guarantee a bye in the tourney and should keep us safely in the field. Especially if 1 of those 2 is UofL or Marquette.

RE: BIG GAME!
Does SH push around much? I though that PG pushed with his hands on almost every possession.
Also that Edwin guy should try to score more, out of the half court, off of the dribble.
UC sucked scoring in the paint today. Sometimes you got to be aggressive and get to the bucket.

It is a win so that is great.

Basically a must-win game and they got the job done. Survive and live another day. Defensive effort was very good. We'll need to sure up some of silly unforced turnovers for Thursday night. That's going to be another HUGE game with a great atmosphere.

Pope went to the line 8 times compared to just 2 for Yancy?? Are you f'n kidding me??? Yancy was getting hammered every time he touched the ball down low. I'm so tired of seeing obvious fouls go uncalled in our own gym.

Whew, I'll take it. Much too tentative on offense the last 5 minutes and the free throws are enough to give you a heart attack. I thought the D was great overall. On to Louisville

03-lmfao Listening to Mick, he just commented on Pope going over Parker's back.

Mick also mentioned the awesome crowd. I guess there were at least nine unclaimed seats, per:

Yancy got ridden all over. I know you want to let them play, but then to go down on the other end and call that bs foul on Jackson and then that one guy guarding Wright fell over on his own for a call... Pretty pitiful imo. I'm tired of Higgins.

So much for that waning interest.

This team is imperfect, like 95% of college basketball teams, but plays hard and is fun to watch most games. Right now we are a half game behind fourth place in the conference, this team is a lot better than some want to think.

Higgins was not one of the refs today.

So much for that waning interest.

There were 300 youth cheerleaders and their families, plus this was a game where free tickets were given to those who bought Liberty Bowl tickets.

While I loved the crowd, it the numbers were inflated by those things.

I knew about the Liberty Bowl tickets, glad people used them. Since some claimed people turning down free tickets was proof positive of lost interest I'd say a packed house against SH is pretty good regardless.

The 300 youth cheerleaders and their families was a Marketing coup. Just get them in the building once, and hopefully the product will bring them back. Kudo's to Whit; who spent much of the game walking around amongst the crowd shaking hands. It is so refreshing to have a new AD that wants to meet the public.

People in the building is all you need. Student get free tickets too. Its about time we got the city interested in UC basketball while buidling loyal fans that are going to want to come back.

Nice win for the Cats today. Seton Hall is a good team that makes it very difficult to score. Too many times our fans forget that the other schools recruit great players too.
