MTSU thread
I am not saying we will beat MT, but if I were Kermit, I would be nervous.

A couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have given us a chance in hell to beat Middle Tenn. In the past couple of weeks, things have happened to make me think we might have a pretty good chance. Middle has had some close games and a loss to Denver, our team has shown that on any given night they can win(and on any given night they can not show up too), even on the road. I wouldn't put any money on it, but I wouldn't be "shocked" if we win.

I hear it was a toss up when they named him. It came down to either Kermit or Miss Piggy.

Sums it up pretty well. Which bunch of Trojans will show up?

I've said this before on here, but it's still funny. My wife asked me when we played them here "Why does everyone call him Kermit?".

He didn't have much of a chance.

His father is Kermit Davis, SR, former head coach at Miss. State

One thing the prognosticators are forgetting about this game (CBS has MT by 25) is that we have improved considerably over the season. I do not know how much that is true of MT. They were pretty good from the start.

Just had breakfast in Murfreesboro at the team hotel. Wife and I had on our trojan gear and up comes Rich Hollenberg who will be doing the play by play for ESPN2 today. "My wife" and Rich had a nice discussion about UALR players.

I guess I am a half-empty person, but I just do not feel good this morning about this game.

Looking out the window at the hotel I see a MT flag flying under the hotel flag. I brought my 3' x 5' Trojan Flag on this trip. Wonder if I should run it up the flag pole?

To MTSU fans: Stay home. No need to risk your safety. The games on ESPN2.

I also did not feel good the morning of the games at UNT, Denver, and ULL. Maybe even ASU with an injured WN. Those worked out quite well.

Don't think that won't have some effect. On the other hand, folks all over Arkansas who wouldn't attend the game anyway, and don't want to go outside in the cold may be watching us. Hope we don't stink it up on TV as usual.

The snow might affect the walkup crowd a bit but people will still come anyway. Seems like we usually don't fare to well on TV (see Denver game) as well, but I think we've got the advantage because it's on our home court. Good luck Trojans, and Go Blue Raiders!

I figure you would be big favorites on any court.

We need to really show out on national television and bury you guys. That said, I'll be happy so long as we're up 1 when the clock reads all zeros.

Good luck today Trojans.
