Didn't think that many, but I didn't take into account the corporate sponsors, if things go flawlessly, we might actually get up to 50, but anything over 40 is phenomenal with us being the primary sell for the bowl. I think if USM was here instead of SDSU, we'd be in excess of 60 pushing towards the Sellout.

Well Done Cajuns..I mean even if 10,000 SDSU fans make the trip over 32,000 fans our cheering you on and I bet something like 5,000 SDSU fans..

So wanted TCU in this game instead of SDSU think if they were playing at home us there good 50,000-60,000 would been there many of us Frogs

Wanted go to somewhere close this year..so many of us our buying tickets for locale charity cause won't make trip SD....

Great! Way to represent UL and the SBC well. It'll most definitely be a great game. I hope you guys can win this one and give folks in LA more to cheer about. I'm watching the game and rooting for the Cajuns, and I'd love to see a crowd of over 50k!

I remember some Central Michigan fans a few years ago braggin about their attendance numbers in Detroit. This game is evidence of what can be done when a team in the bowls back yard is in the game.

Home crowd may be just enough to beat SDSU. ULL is the biggest underdog of any SBC team so having 30k+ will be beneficial.

What did I say? I expected more from the 18,000 number being reported, but I also said I thought the Cajun fans would still step up and deliver. I'm anxious to see if they get clear of 30,000. I think clearing 20,000 would be very good, clearing 25,000 would be outstanding and if they manage to clear 30,000 that's knocking it out of the park completely.

Not lol. Can't get there in less than 2 hours from Lafayette. Maybe 3 depending on traffic in Baton Rouge and NO.

I got no dog in this fight but calling someone stupid just because they don't know the driving time from one city to another is uncalled for, in my opinion.

He's not stupid. He's just obtuse. He knows better.

Lafayette is 54 miles from Baton Rouge.

From my house to the SuperDome is 2 1/2 hours. I don't live IN Lafayette, but it is the same distance/time from there as it is from my house.

OK, been a long time since I've driven it; but I recalled over 120 miles. So just to be fair, I googled it. Via I-10, about 134 miles. Via Hwy 90E, 152 miles. 04-cheers
