Blew a 8-3 late lead over Auburn the other night. Lost 11-8.
After snapping that 19 game losing streak to them last year I guess we can start a new one. 03-banghead

We seem to be stuck in neutral in a lot of sports.

Football, women's soccer, and women's basketball seem to be headed in the right direction. What else?

Who did they play though, the Big 10 Champs in Birmingham, I'll take that again.

I was referring to games this past weekend versus Milwaukee. It appears if UAB needs to alter game times due to weather the game venue moves to Young Memorial. Maybe that's part of UAB being able to play at Regions.in the first place?

RE: Blazer Baseball
Schools in states like Alabama who don't have state gaming funds to supplement their scholarship programs are at some measure of disadvantage in baseball (and perhaps in softball). States like GA can add "Hope scholarships" for recruiting instate athletes and reserve use of their regular NCAA athletic scholarships for recruiting promising out of state players under present NCAA rules. (This advantage does not apply to MBB or FB where all scholarships count against the team's total allotment)

Alabama's 5 FBS programs all have the same number of NCAA baseball scholarships to divide among their players. The "gaming states" have all of these PLUS their "Hope type" scholarships for instate players as well. How much this helps these teams can only be guessed at by seeing how they do consistently in league play and NCAA tournaments.

Two Friday's ago I drove 45 mins to get to Regions field for the game but the gates were locked and nobody was there nor was there a sign explaining what was going on so I just turned around and went home. The website said "TBD" for game time. I am not mad or anything but I would like to keep that from happening again. Is there some way people without ties to the baseball program can learn of time or venue changes (especially if they happen to be last minute)?
