That FedEx plane above the stadium is pretty dang cool. It almost looks as if it's a permanent fixture (like a stadium "hood ornament").

Memphis fans showed up big at that game... and the school has all of a sudden have become a fairly consistent winner in football, too bad their basketball has fallen apart recently.

Hard to find another Calipari. But they've got money. I doubt they'll let themselves settle for where they're at.

Have to think the state of the two programs feels a bit surreal to long time Tiger fans. Even though the current admin is more football friendly than the previous one, make no mistake bball has plenty of big donors. The new practice facilities were announced around the the same time...IPF may have even been first come to think about it. Bball broke ground, built and opened and while the fball facilities...

Unless the money dries up, something will be done sooner rather than later. Memphis has reached the final game under three different coaches and could get there again with someone willing to navigate local “politics.”
